IEEMA Quality Division was reinvigorated in December 2024 by constituting IEEMA Quality Committee comprising of Senior Quality Professionals from leading member organizations. The Committee was mandated to launch an industry-wide “Campaign to make Quality a Hallmark” of IEEMA members. The committee has formulated Action Plan in IEEMA way which is

I – INSPIRE the industry leadership to Commit to Quality First, Safety Must and Reliability for Customer Trust
E – EDUCATE, train & handhold the industry by strategically tying up with leading institutes like IIT’s, ISI, QCI etc.
E – ENGAGE, with industry for improvement initiatives, benchmarking expeditions, mutual learnings etc.
M – MOTIVATE & Encourage the organizations for their achievements in Quality, Reliability and Safety by recognizing through awards and appreciation.
A – AUGMENT infrastructure with respect to Quality, Reliability and safety specially for MSME’s through Advocacy with GOI.

Some of the flagship programs are-

Tie up with Subir Chaudhary School of Quality & Reliability, IIT Kharagpur for unique “Six Month Certification Course in Reliability Engineering for Electrical Industry Professionals” designed for IEEMA Members. Batches commenced from June 2025.
MOU with Quality Council of India for facilitating ZED certification for IEEMA MSME members. Handholding Workshops and capability enhancing Training are being conducted. Many members have embarked on the journey.
Factory visit for Benchmarking to leading Organizations for mutual learnings. The initiative has been launched in Vadodara and Kolkata. PAN-India rollout is planned.
