I, congratulate you all as we step into 75th year of IEEMA. This journey has been long and electrifying and we travelled a long way from eight members in 1948 to 950 members in 2022.
India is on the path of securing energy independence and is pioneering a new model of economic development while aiming to reach net zero emissions by 2070. A transition to clean energy is a huge opportunity for our industry. With combined efforts we can make the country a global leader in renewable batteries and green hydrogen
As we enter into our 75th year of service to the Nation, we want to make this year a memorable one. Thus a year-long celebration of events are planned to mark the 75th anniversary of IEEMA.

I take pride in asserting that IEEMA is embarking on another soulful journey of 75th year of its existence. All of us who are part of this journey, even years later, will be reminisced for what we achieved for us and for our members, despite these testing times.
The glorious journey of 75 years began in the year 1948 and today, the Association is recognised as the first point of reference for anything pertaining to Power and Electrical Equipment. It also continues to represent the interests of its members, in consonance with National interest.
We will work together with our members to enhance competitiveness in the industry, and promote Atmanirbharta, reduce our carbon footprint by speeding up the required transition in the sector.
To make this year momentous, IEEMA will be organising several events and interactions to support its members and the 75th year celebration will conclude with the 15th edition of ELECRAMA to be held in February 2023.
