At IEEMA Women in Power, our vision is clear: to create a platform where women professionals in the power sector can thrive, lead, and inspire. The realities of our industry are demanding—critical decisions, and the constant balancing of multiple roles—but they also present opportunities for women to redefine leadership with resilience, empathy, and innovation. These strengths that only women bring to every table.
WIP is not just a forum; it is a movement. We are committed to empowering women through knowledge sessions, mentorship, and exposure to emerging technologies. From conversations on mental well being and emotional resilience, to workshops on AI in the workplace, financial planning, and technical upskilling, our focus is on equipping women with tools that strengthen both professional competence and personal confidence. As Chairperson, I believe inclusivity is our greatest strength. Every woman—whether she is a young engineer stepping into her first role, a manager navigating boardroom dynamics, or a leader shaping policy—deserves a space where her voice is heard and her growth is supported. Together, we are building a stronger, more diverse power sector that reflects the aspirations of a truly Viksit Bharat.
IEEMA WIP will continue to champion initiatives that celebrate women’s achievements. With the collective energy of our members, mentors, and partners, we are shaping a future where women are not just participants in the power sector, but key architects of its transformation.

Leadership today is not about occupying space or position, but the ability to influence with purpose and lead with responsibility. At Women in Power, we are committed to enabling women to nurture ambition, lead through mentorship, collaboration and shared strength that is inclusive and future focused. Together, we are not just building careers – we are shaping an industry that reflects equality, excellence and opportunity for all. By empowering women today, we are strengthening the foundations of tomorrow’s energy ecosystem.

In my opinion, a powerful leadership is unstoppable and always is his/her own word. She always inspires others through her walk, talk, through her actions and unlock the covered potentials of people she connects.
A true leadership is empowering others to take actions, grow, define the future, success is all about growing others, uncovering hidden potentials all around. It always gives space to others to speak and keep on listening to others. There is no space for failure, as even though it fails, it gains a lot of lessons, so a powerful leader doesn’t have fear of failure.
