22nd December 2017, Nasik :  IEEMA organised a One day Workshop on “Best Practices Earthing & Grounding for Improved Productivity & Profitability” at Nashik Engineering Cluster, Nashik. This awareness workshop was  conducted by the empanelled faculty Cdr. Yogesh Chaudhari (Retd), PMP®, Co-Founder and COO of M/s Adler Technoserve Pvt. Ltd, with an objective to refresh and upgrade participants’ knowledge on adopting best earthing and grounding practices. He also explained how failures, due to poor earthing and grounding can affect productivity and profitability of a business. The workshop was attended by 41 participants from IEEMA Member companies, member companies of Nashik Industries & Manufacturers’ Association (NIMA) & Electrical Contractors Association of Maharashtra (ECAM), MSEGCL – Bhusawal, MSEDCL – Nashik & Aurangabad, BEST Undertaking – Mumbai, Electrical Research & Development Association – Baroda. Apart from explaining to the participants various aspects of earthing and grounding such as reference standards, systems and assessment programs, they were engaged in analysis of case studies and video clips on best practices, which made this workshop highly interactive. Participants gave overwhelming feedback.

Participants from MSEGCL & MSEDCL requested for more such workshops designed to their specific needs be conducted at their premises for their other team members. A few IEEMA Membership enquires generated from members companies of NIMA & ECAM.
