08th June 2018, Bengaluru: IEEMA had organised its Member / Non Member Connect program in Bengaluru at the The Lalit Ashok on 8th June 2018 with Karnataka Stakeholders. There were more than 120 participants comprising of IEEMA Members, Nonmembers and Utility Officials. The main agenda was to provide an opportunity for understanding the vision of policy makers and at arriving at a road map for the industry to become a proactive partner. Mr. Sunil Misra, Director General, IEEMA presided over the event. Presentations on IEEMA Initiatives and future activities were made by Mr Harish Agarwal, Vice President; Mr. R K Chugh, Vice President and Mr. Vikas Jalan, Chairman – Southern Region and Mr. Suryanarayana Rao, Vice Chairman – Southern Region. Dr. Aditi Raja, Director – Finance of KPTCL graced the event and had an interactive session with the attendees along with Mr. Renuprasad, Chief Engineer T & P, KPTCL. A brief session on “Innovation & Digitalisation” was held by Mr. Rituraj Khare, Siemens EM DG PRO R & D. Presentation on “Sectoral Disruptions and Interventions Required” was made by Mr. Ankit Piplani, E & Y. Members appreciated and indicated that more such programs should be held at regular intervals.
