I congratulate IEEMA - the apex electrical industry association for launching its new website to connect its 950 + members in their pursuit to provide online support and services to them. Right from the generation, to transmission, to distribution of electricity, and inour day to day life, digitalisation has become the key. This means that the Indian electrical industry must invest more in digital technologies. I compliment IEEMA for the various services it offers to its members in this direction. It is actively working to help its members adopt new technologies, bring in standardization and focus on quality. I also understand that the Price Variation Services offered by IEEMA, to regularly publish relevant prices and indices to all stake-holders, is used and appreciated widely amongst various utilities and buyers of Indian electrical equipment. I am pleased to see that the new website of IEEMA aims to be an active platform for connecting the Indian Electrical Equipment industry to the global supply chain. This in turn will help our industry to become globally competitive - both in terms of quality, we well as price. I wish IEEMA all the best and hope that it continues to bring its membership to contribute to the vision of AatmaNirbhar Bharat and a globally competitive Indian electrical and allied electronics industry.

Established in 1948, IEEMA is the apex association of manufacturers of electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipment in India. It is the only association in India which supports its members with top-notch technical processes with support of its divisions. Recognised as the first point of reference for anything pertaining to Power and Electrical Equipment, IEEMA has strengthened its policy advocacy. The Government officials laud IEEMA for its data backed representations. It also continues to represent the interests of its members, in consonance with National interest.
