Trafotech conferences, organized by IEEMA systematically and regularly have drawn international attention and earned great prestige, wide recognition and immense popularity. These conferences provide transformer industry-manufacturers, suppliers and users-a common platform to review recent advances and futuristic trends, share operational experiences and discuss requirements for emerging market scenarios. In a way, Trafotech Conferences reflect the technical status and progress of Indian transformer industry. Transformer manufacturing started in India in 1936, IEEMA was established in 1947 and first Trafotech held in 1982. After a quarter century of commencing Trafotech, it was felt necessary to collect and collat all technical papers presented in previous conferences along with the proceedings and key note speeches. It is hoped that these digital volumes with search engine will be useful for all connected with Indian transformer industry as reference material.
